The next evolution of the World Championship winning INFERNO. MP777 represents the latest in 1/8 racing buggy innovation.

The Inferno phenomenon has only dominated the world of 1/8 off-road racing by continually challenging the limits of current racing technology. The MP777 is a full model change and represents the next big leap in performance for off-road racing. At its debut racing event at the 2004 1/8 GP Buggy World Championships, the Inferno dominated with 4 out of the top 10 placings. The MP777’s performance and results proved the next generation in racing buggies had arrived. Newly enhanced features include a lower C of G, extended suspension stroke, increased scope for setting options, and optimized C of G position, all working in harmony to produce a big performance boost. With the genius of designer Mr. Yuichi Kanai working through the machine, the MP777 continues to lead 1/8 buggy trends, and for the racing buggy world to appreciate the most sophisticated machine available.

More setting options are available with choice of caster angle on front hubs. Even includes guard to protect against the unexpected. Rear guards are also available as options.

Stabilizers on front and rear suspension realize excellent rigidity. Delivers reliable stabilizer effect, increased cornering speed and exceptional control.

Changed direction of the inclined pivot mounts supporting the upper arms makes 4 different suspension pin angles possible. Wide scope for setting options to suit various racing conditions.

With the inverted servo saver spring, vertical movement from bumps and shocks is removed with no effect on steering angle, and the servo’s original smooth movement is maintained.

Extended stroke on front and rear suspension produce longer bottoming out. Smooth movement and optimized shock travel ratio realizes sensitive feel for the race surface.

Pin-spike tires included as standard. Dish-type wheels stop trouble at its source by preventing dirt etc. from entering through the wheels.

Rear suspension features 4mm longer rear shock casings to match the longer suspension stroke.

Major improvements in racing performance achieved from "lower C of G", "optimal C of G position", and "extended suspension stroke". Concentrates on the key performance areas for winning races.

  • Lowered engine position realizes an even lower center of gravity.
  • Increased steering throw promises even more freedom in driver control.
  • Right-angled rear axle is realized by moving the bulkhead forward. Also removes negative effects on drive efficiency during suspension stroke.
  • Muffler guard for protection against lateral hits is included as standard.
  • Newly designed body creates powerful downforce.
