Precision differential gears on front and rear on the shaft driven AWD power train combine with the four-wheel independent suspension for awesome performance way beyond its scale. Whether on-road or off-road, AWD (all-wheel-drive) is regarded as one of the ideal racing platforms. The sophisticated mechanics of AWD have been condensed into a dropped palmtop size chassis and combined with the ASF 2.4GHz control unit for the ultimate in control stability. Body styles that suit low height chassis are now even more real. Also, the kit without transmitter specifications are ideal for those who already have an ASF 2.4GHz MINI-Z Racer. Now you can add the MINI-Z AWD as your 2nd or 3rd MINI-Z at an even more reasonable cost.

Sophisticated mechanics include midship motor mount, shaft drive AWD and 4-wheel independent suspension.

 

Metal core resin universal swing shafts equipped on all wheels to realize unobstructed suspension movement for efficient transfer of drive power.

  

Uniquely shaped gear teeth on the crown and pinion gear drive the propeller shaft for the precision 3-bevel gear differentials.

Toe-in angles on front and rear can be adjusted with the use of optional parts. Simple tie-rod attachment / detachment makes maintenance easy.

  

Chassis height adjustment collars enable chassis to be dropped and the included 4 pinions and 3 spur gears allow a wide range of gear ratio settings.

  

Front features bump stop to avoid body contact with chassis and regulate suspension stroke.

  • Simply conduct the pairing of the PERFEX KT-18 (sold separately) with the chassis to complete preparation.

＜MINI-Z AWD and MINI-Z Racer Interchangeability＞
Regarding Body Fitting
・The MINI-Z AWD chassis width is the same as the MINI-Z Racer MR-015.
　Most bodies for the M and L-size wheelbases of the MR-01 and MR-015 chassis are compatible with the AWD.
Regarding Wheels
・MINI-Z AWD features specially designed wheels. These wheels are not compatible with previous versions of the MINI-Z.
　Please select and use the wheels included in the chassis set.
Regarding the Auto Scale Collection
・Wheels included in the Auto Scale Collection are not compatible with the AWD.
　Use together with the wheels included in the AWD chassis set.
Regarding the Motor
・The wiring on the motor included on the MINI-Z AWD is different to other motors in the MINI-Z Racer Series.
　Please use the motor set specifically for the AWD.

Using 2.4GHz frequency, the transmitter and chassis automatically lock on to open bands with the 2.4GHz ASF system. Realizes a stable environment without interference so you can have confidence in your radio system's response. Allows up to 40 cars to be raced at the same time. Simple pairing process (registering transmitter with the chassis) also enables a single transmitter to be used with multiple chassis.
