The three critical design features for a top-class flight trainer of rock-solid stability, calm control and simple assembly are all combined perfectly in the CALMATO TR EP 1400. With a proven reputation around the world as perhaps the best introduction to model airplane flight available, the CALMATO incorporates the latest technology in electric motor power to take the quiet, beginner-friendly advantages of electric airplanes to new heights with its gentle control and stability ensuring that beginners can’t go wrong with their first flying experience. The original rectangular design of the semi-symmetrical airfoil on the main wing delivers greater stability and control response than ever before so the airplane resists stalling, even with the heavy control inputs expected from beginner fliers. The airplane is pre-covered in film and only requires a few simple steps for assembly, without the need for any gluing. Including brushless motor, propeller and spinner, only a few additional items are needed to get airborne. The CALMATO opens the door to the exciting world of dynamic R/C airplane flight, without the oil mess and engine starting tools required of gas-powered trainers.

Rectangular semi-symmetrical airfoil of the main wing delivers the optimal balance of stability and forward penetration for beginner flight training.

  

Simply open the hatch to change the battery without removing the main wing. Magnetic lock allows easy one-touch access.

  

Includes 1,100KV, 400W brushless motor. Specially designed for electric airplanes, the D11 x P7 propeller produces plenty of thrust.

Tricycle landing gear configuration provides stability and confidence in landing and takeoffs. Rudder-connected nose wheel also provides greater control on the ground.

  

Equipped with wing bolts that can be tightened by hand. Left and right aileron servos are equipped on each side of the main wing and allow for easy main wing detachment.

  

Pre-covered in layers of single-color film for a vivid color style. Tail fin is pre-installed so assembly can be completed without any gluing.

Despite its compact size there is plenty of space for linkages and radio components. Pre-mounted servo bed means no tricky installation required.
