As a micro-sized helicopter, the CALIBER 120 features a real cyclic control system, just the same as large helicopters. The Type A is a reproduction of a famous military helicopter and includes special components that produce both powerful flight and user-friendly stability. Equipped with real 4-channel control and a gyro sensor unit, you have full control of lateral and vertical movement as well as hovering capability that delivers dynamic flight performance way beyond its size. With its crash-resistant lightweight finish you can enjoy flying your own sorties with confidence. This set is fully pre-assembled so simply load batteries into the transmitter and charge the included Lipo battery and you’re ready for lift off. In addition, the transmitter features a full stroke throttle stick without return spring for the same control characteristics of a GP helicopter.

Introduces 4-channel and cyclic control to a helicopter of this size for full lateral and vertical maneuverability and hovering capability.

  

Optimized shape and weight of the newly developed stabilizer weights delivers both excellent stability and control.

  

Main rotor has 5-degree washout and a 1-degree coning angle to produce optimal hovering stability. Throttle control response is also calm and easy to manage.

High rigidity of the reinforced carbon mast minimizes the affect of gyro precession and delivers a strong sense of the neutral position. Able to handle aggressive flying styles.

  

Stabilizer : Rotor mixing lever ratio optimized at 2 : 1 (previously 1 : 1) to support calm and steady control. Also delivers improved maneuverability.

  

Simply switch the 2.4GHz R/C system ON and up to 24 models can be flown at the same time without radio interference. 10mm long control sticks deliver fingertip control. (full stroke specification)

Raised tail rotor is close to the rotating plane of main rotor to hold the fuselage steady, just like the full-size version. Produces the same stability as contra-rotor helicopters.

  

All control inputs are equipped with 19-step digital trims for precise adjustment. Tone indication and display provides clear understanding of control settings.

< Includes Full Stroke Throttle Stick Transmitter! >
The transmitter included in the CALIBER 120 Type S Readyset features a full stroke throttle stick so the motor speed can be set at any point from the bottom to the top of the throttle stick’s travel range. This allows more precise control of the motor speed and makes flight control much easier than transmitters with a return spring on the throttle stick.
When hovering for example, precise control stick adjustment within a small range is constantly needed for maintaining a stable position and the full stroke throttle stick allows this without pressure from a return spring. Now everyone including fliers of larger size EP and GP helicopters can enjoy full control with this micro-sized helicopter.
