The addition of floats to the micro-size Caliber 120 Type R helicopter extends the dream of helicopter flight and form onto the water. While maintaining a similar cyclic pitch control mechanism to a real full-size helicopter, the new head and rotor design is based on the easy-to-fly Caliber 120 Type A. Precision stabilizer settings and coning angle are complimented by a 5-degree main rotor offset. Solid control and autonomous stability reduces the tendency of the nose to lift in forward movement and the higher battery mounting allows closer positioning to the body so the impact of the floats on the center of gravity is kept to a bare minimum. A 4-channel R/C system including gyro is compacted into this amazing micro-size helicopter to deliver full lateral, vertical as well as hovering flight control. As the helicopter is fully pre-assembled, once you set your batteries into the transmitter and use it to charge the included Li-Po battery, you can enjoy the fascinating world of helicopter flight control, even on the water!

Equipped with realistic and easy to attach large styrene floats. The floats provide plenty of buoyancy for stable posture on the water.

  

Precision size and mass of the stabilizer weights are optimized for the Type R floats to deliver ideal stability and control.

  

5-degree washout and 1-degree coning setting delivers rock solid hovering stability. Calm response to throttle input realizes user-friendly control.

High rigidity carbon main mast minimizes the effects of gyro precession for a greater neutral control feel. Strong and robust enough to handle rough control.

  

Fully pre-assembled with control surfaces attached. Only a few simple steps such as charging and setting the batteries remain to become flight-ready.

  

Up to 24 aircraft can be flown at the same time with interference-free control system that initializes automatically when power is switched on. 10mm long transmitter sticks and full stroke throttle stick provide easy flight control.

All control inputs are equipped with 19-step digital trims for precise adjustment. LCD screen provides clear visibility and easy management of control settings.

  

Attach the included training safety bar to fly in practice mode. Perfect for beginners to improve control and gain confidence.

  

Newly designed battery holder positions the battery closer to the body. Includes both blue and red pattern decals.

< Includes Full Stroke Throttle Stick Transmitter! >
The transmitter included in the CALIBER 120 Type R Readyset with Float features a full stroke throttle stick so the motor speed can be set at any point from the bottom to the top of the throttle stick’s travel range. This allows more precise control of the motor speed and makes flight control much easier than transmitters with a return spring on the throttle stick.
When hovering for example, precise control stick adjustment within a small range is constantly needed for maintaining a stable position and the full stroke throttle stick allows this without pressure from a return spring. Now everyone including fliers of larger size EP and GP helicopters can enjoy full control with this micro-sized helicopter.
