Phillip Guschl (Germany)

<1> What were your first impressions when you actually ran the car?
I test drove an earlier version in Germany, but what I see now is just incredible. Small yet so fast! Control is also great. And excellent stability through jumps. A huge leap forward in performance.

<2> How does it compare to the 1/8 Inferno?
I spent a long time driving on a mini-layout and found the variety of setting options very good. Achieves the same response as the 1/8. The ability to experiment with settings is a necessary feature for a racing machine, so as far as a smaller version of the 1/8, its a success. Its also ideal for beginners to learn the tricks of chassis setting.

<3> What did you find interesting about the mechanics?
I've heard the wheelbase is slightly longer than the EP version, but I'm still amazed at how an engine is fitted into this space and how similar it is to the 1/8. It is quite surprising. Overall chassis balance is excellent too.

<4> What did you think about the SIRIO engine?
Produces plenty of torque at the bottom end that increases with the engine's RPM. Idling is also really stable. Nothing to complain about at all.

<5> How do you think the 09 will be received in your country?
I has all the features people want. For example: servos with metal gears; diff with metal gears; oil shocks with plenty of capacity, and parts that reinforce the chassis for extra strength and rigidity. For the discerning customers of Germany, this machine will prove really popular.
