Report from specialist RC magazine journalists 「R/C Sports」 Mr. Tanaka (alias - Mr.T)

■Handy size so can be used just about anywhere

RC cars are fun, but sometimes finding the right place and getting everything ready can cause some problems. That's why I suspect there are people who have given up after running their cars just once. But there are no such problems with this Mini-Inferno 09! The compact size fits neatly on the A4 size of RC Sports and is easy to carry around. But the fully functional GP buggy with 4WD system means there is nothing small about its performance. Plenty of good stuff in this package.

■The amazing features of the World Champion buggy!

Sophisticated mechanics are packed into the compact chassis of the Mini-Inferno 09, and it gives the impression that its crammed full. People who appreciate mechanical design will love this. This is because it is a downsized version of Inferno MP777, that just added its 7th World Championship victory at the 1/8 GP Buggy World Championships in Indonesia in September 2006. This is actually a miniature version of the world champion machine. From the oil shocks, double wishbone suspension, to the high-strength aluminum main chassis, even the engine and the drive train recreate the Inferno MP777! Even with the smaller size, you can still tell your mates that you drive an Inferno.

■Starts first time with the starter box

You may have heard from others that GP cars can be difficult to run. Well this machine puts all those worries to bed straight away. The Readyset includes a starter box that makes engine starting a breeze! So easy to use too.
1)Put fuel in the tank and mount the chassis on the starter box
2)Push the plug heater down onto the glow plug and push the chassis down.
The engines comes to life with these two steps. Actually I wasn't so confident with starting engines until I started this machine the first time, each time. Before anything else there is nothing that pleases beginners more than an engine that starts easily.

Steps to remember when mounting chassis on starter box

Step1
Position the chassis so the base of the front suspension rests on the stoppers.

Step2
Rest the back of the chassis on the center stopper as shown. Take care the chassis doesn't slip left or right.

Step3
Push the engine down and the flywheel contacts the spinning wheel on the starter box to crank the engine to life.

■Really fast! And so easy!

After completing engine break-in, place the Mini-Inferno 09 on the ground and slowly open the throttle to the point where you think you might be going just a little too fast. The world-renowned SIRIO engine punches a full class above its own. This is something for speed freaks to get excited about and opens your eyes to the world of racing. This trial was run on a rough track but the suspension held firm and grip was good. I could give it everything without hesitation at the toughest buggy track I could find. The refreshing arrival of the Mini-Inferno 09 in its unprecented handy size, make it an excellent recommendation for your first GP car.
