"What a surprise when I returned home! A big package!
I quickly opened it…and found the new Mini-Inferno 09!!
First impressions were of a nicely finished product!
SIRIO engine, brake system just like a 1/8, starter box included, receiver battery included.
If I had a wish, it would be for a metal muffler instead of a plastic one.
All I needed was fuel, and batteries for the transmitter and the plug heater!
But on second thoughts, I'll also need a charger for the starter box battery and receiver battery. As I have an electric buggy, I already have a charger.
But for first time users, I guess they would need to get a charger.
I charged up the receiver battery and switched the transmitter ON and checked the steering...servo was lightening fast!!
Even with the Readyset, I wasn't expecting setup to be this fast.
I added my fuel and fired up the engine!!
I mounted the chassis on the starter box, connected the plug booster and pushed down - started first time!
I was amazed at how easy it was to start. I was also surprised by the sound!
After that I ran at a gentle pace. I was a little concerned about the level of grip from the tires. Anyway, I think I can improve this by changing the tires and shocks.
Can't wait to start running this beast after I break it in!"
