■This machine makes you want to test the advice.
Higashino:
Regarding the earlier discussion on fuel, can you give any advice to people training on this machine?
Kawamoto:
The easiest way to choose fuel is by the level of nitro. For example, high nitro fuel produces lots of torque, low speed is reduced, and you can generate enough speed without opening the throttle right up. Its also easier to control. I think this would be more suitable for beginner training. You can set the needle a bit rich, and it will still produce and maintain stable RPM. Throttle control is not too sensitive so you can focus on other areas of control.
Higashino:
I see. What about low nitro fuels?
Kawamoto:
These are better for longer circuits. The load on the glow plug is lower so this is good for long term stability. The needle can be set leaner so maximum straight line speed is easy to set. However, when you go over jumps and take the load off the engine, pressure is put on the plug so better back off the throttle in these situations. Especially avoid running too lean. When you get more experience, give it a try. Fuel consumption is better and its more reliable in racing conditions.

Higashino:
Do you have any other recommendations?
Kawamoto:
I have heard that there is an optional front brake unit. With this you can increase braking power with dual disk brakes. You can even try thicker shock oil and different shock angles. With this machine you can easily see the effects of your adjustments so you can improve quickly. You should also fit a front stabilizer as it should make posture control through jumps easier. Also, a bit of a gap in the clearance can also absorb any change to the posture around rough corners. Tighten up the rear stabilizer for easier braking or if the rear has vibration when power is applied. These are standard settings that I use on my 1/8 Inferno, but I confirmed with today's test that they can also be useful for the Mini-Inferno 09. These settings allow this machine to run similar to the 1/8, but in a more confined space. I encourage everyone to test these characteristics and get involved in racing.
Higashino:
Thank you very much for your sound advice. We wish for your future success.
